Women's Sailing Foundation/National Women's Sailing Association
Dedicated to enriching the lives of women and girls through education and access to the sport of sailing. Holds an annual sailing education day every June and many events around the country. Annual dues: $45.
Women's Sailing Education/Classes
Joy Ride Charters / Westbrook, CT
Captain Joy Sherman offers lessons, day charters and some weekend sails to mostly women, but open to all. She leads many charters in the Caribbean, plus unique charters to Cuba.
Her LadyShip Sailing / Sunshine Coast Adventures
Offering women and couples ASA certified sailing classes in Annapolis, the Keys, Pacific Northwest, the Bahamas and more with Captain Jennifer Maclean.
Longshore Sailing School / Westport, CT
Offers a 12 hour/4-day women only basic sailing class every June, before school gets out. Open to non-residents.
Sistership Sailing School / BVIs
This sailing school for women (couples & families) offers the opportunity to learn to sail in a live-aboard situation in a positive, relaxed and supportive environment with two women captains.
Black Rock Sailing School / MA, RI, Virgin Islands
Black Rock will teach any of their standard ASA core curriculum cources in a women's only format. Minimum of two, max of three.
