Joe Cooper wrote a pretty nice article about the existence of Women on the Water of Long Island Sound. He correctly points out that many of the 15 yacht clubs involved STILL don’t have Women’s Sailing Pages on their websites, even though they purportedly ‘support the development of women sailors’. Maybe Joe’s observation will help the womens groups at these clubs convince their boards to invest in a simple website page about women’s sailing and boating opportunities at their clubs (At least for the clubs that don’t keep ALL information behind a member only firewall.)
